Well, I'm officially half way there...I'm 20 weeks today! In a lot of ways it seems like it has gone by really fast, but at the same time it kind of seems as if I have been pregnant forever. I'm sure the 2nd half of the pregnancy will fly by though, especially once school starts!
I feel so blessed to have had a fairly easy pregnancy so far, and we just continue to pray that Miss Emma Kate continues to grow as she's supposed to. And we pray that when we go back to Dr. Atkinson in 2 weeks that he doesn't change his mind and say she's now a he!! I don't know why, but I have had a lot of anxiety about this lately...maybe it could be because everything is PINK! :)
Thanks for all the prayers up to this point...God is SO faithful!

Busy Bees, Doctor, and Will!!
Brice and I were quite the busy bees this weekend. We decided to tackle the nursery! And Brice was very cooperative and agreed to do stripes even though it was a lot of work!! We still have to add the chair rail and do some touch ups on the paint, but overall we were very pleased with the results. (Now we just have to pray that they don't come back and say she is now a he!) Also, I had a doctor's appointment this morning and my doctor decided to move my due date up a week! So, Miss Emma Kate's EDD is now December 15th, and he said she will most likely make an appearance the first part of December.
Here are a few pics of the nursery...what do you think??
Also, Will Hutson made his debut today!! He arrived at 7:23 this morning, and I'd like to give a shout out to my good friend Denae who made childbirth sound like a piece of cake! Stay tuned to her blog for more updates. For the time being enjoy this picture of sweet baby Will!

Vacation
Well, we had a great time in Dallas this past weekend. This was our mini-vacation for the summer so we decided to splurge and stay at the Omni Hotel. It was SO nice. I felt like we were in Vegas when we were in the lobby. We pretty much just shopped and ate! Brice was a trooper and didn't complain once about all the shopping. Saturday night we went to see Transformers at Studio Movie Grill, where they serve dinner in the movie theater. If you haven't ever been there, I highly recommend it...it was so much fun! We got tons of clothes for baby girl Foster...I just couldn't resist because there were so many great sales going on. And we got bought a crib and ordered the bedding as well. I know it seems kind of early to already be working on the nursery, but I want to get as much done as possible before school starts (and because it's just so fun!!).
Here are a few pictures of the hotel and some of our purchases:

It's a......
GIRL!!!!!
We just got back from our appointment this morning and I just can't believe it! Even after last weeks appointment I kept telling everyone, oh no, I'm sure it's still a boy. (I even bought an Easter outfit for "him" yesterday!) It was so funny, everytime the nurse would try to look between her legs she would literally put her hand down with her fingers spread apart, as if she was saying STOP! Haha. I told Brice she's probably mad at us since we have been calling her a boy for the last month! :)
And I guess I now have a busy day ahead of me because I have lots of little boy clothes to return! Brice assures me that the shock will wear off as soon as I start buy little girl clothes though, and I guess I can finally have my way with the polka dots!! :)
